What to say about this all-time favorite for experienced project managers, mainly using it for complex scheduling and follow-up. Except maybe that most people are overwhelmed and do not need this super-size scheduling tool. But it is and remains the most widely used tool around. So if you want to share a Gantt with multiple people changes are good that they will all have MS-Project on their PC (especially in business environment). Most other tools around these days are aligning on the MMP format or at least allow you to import it.

Although it was mainly created as a stand-alone tool (just like MS-Word or MS-Excel) it is since a couple of years also available with a central database allowing you to share and schedule over the whole organisation.
